In our shul, everyone is welcomed and Baruch Hashem, everyone feels comfortable. We have a Sefer Torah with a story, that was written over 70 years ago in Russia. Regardless of your background, we promise to have a Siddur with your Nusach.
We are located in the heart of the Old City of Tzfat, where the main strip ends and the Artist Colony begins. The Rav of the Shul is the well-known Rabbi Alon Anava, (www.alonanava.com) There are 3 minyanim daily led by Rabbi Alon Anava.
The Old City Inn hosts the unique Ma’ayan Ganim Yeshiva and the Be’er Miriam Womens Centre. Classes for the Yeshiva are daily from 6:00 am to 10:30 am, including Shacharit minyan at 7:30 am, followed by other class’s with many topics including Chassidut, Gemara, Halacha, Kabbala. At 6:45pm is a Minayn for Mincha followed by the popular nightly Zohar class at 7:15pm followed by Ma’ariv is at 8:15.
The schedule of the Be’er Miriam women’s learning program is Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Topics are diverse, thought provoking and soul stirring.
The atmosphere is both holy and liberating as anyone and everyone is welcome with open arms.
